Facebook Boycott

A major spike in blog hits aroused my curiosity. My post about the October 24 '09 Facebook boycott over Koran Toilet Paper Roll has been receiving an unusual number of hits. With some research, I discovered that there is a campaign to boycott Facebook for three days beginning at Noon May 19 because of the celebration of "Everybody Draw Muhammad Day".

One event page for the boycott has 7,067 confirmed guests. I found three groups related to the Draw Muhammad Day:
Everybody Draw Mohammed Day!, with 40,319 supporters, Everybody Draw Mohammad Day - May 20th, 2010, with 4,375 supporters and
Everybody draw Muhammad with 1,080 supporters.

Even the high court in Lahore has gotten into the act, ordering isps to block Facebook for three days. Muslims can't take criticism because Islam is false & malignant, and they know it. Moe warned his followers not to carry the Qur'an into Dar ul-harb because we would use it against them. He was right about that. The internet has made translations of the Qur'an & hadith widely available. We therefore know that the Qur'an is partially composed of situational scripture.

Searching Sahih Bukhari for "was revealed" provides clarifying details about several verses. One hadith lets the cat out of the bag.

Sahih Muslim Book 008, Number 3453:

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I felt jealous of the women who offered themselves to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said: Then when Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, revealed this:" You may defer any one of them you wish, and take to yourself any you wish; and if you desire any you have set aside (no sin is chargeable to you)" (xxxiii. 51), I ('A'isha.) said: It seems to me that your Lord hastens to satisfy your desire.

We also know how Moe received his revelations: hallucinations secondary to epileptic fits.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 1, Number 2:

Narrated 'Aisha:

(the mother of the faithful believers) Al-Harith bin Hisham asked Allah's Apostle "O Allah's Apostle! How is the Divine Inspiration revealed to you?" Allah's Apostle replied, "Sometimes it is (revealed) like the ringing of a bell, this form of Inspiration is the hardest of all and then this state passes ' off after I have grasped what is inspired. Sometimes the Angel comes in the form of a man and talks to me and I grasp whatever he says." 'Aisha added: Verily I saw the Prophet being inspired Divinely on a very cold day and noticed the Sweat dropping from his forehead (as the Inspiration was over).

Sahih Muslim Book 007, Number 2654:

Ya'la b. Umayya reported on the authority of his father (Allah be pleased with them) that a person came to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) as he was at Ji'rana and he (the person) had been putting on a cloak which was perfumed, or he (the narrator) said: There was a trace of yellowness on it. He said (to the Holy Prophet): What do you command me to do during my Umra? (It was at this juncture) that the revelation came to the Apostle of Allah (way peace be upon him) and he was covered with a cloth, and Ya'la said: Would that I see revelation coming to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him). He (Hadrat 'Umar) said: Would it please you to see the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) receiving the revelations 'Umar lifted a corner of the cloth and I looked at him and he was emitting a sound of snorting. He (the narrator) said: I thought it was the sound of a camel. When he was relieved of this he said: Where is he who asked about Umra? When the person came, the Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) said: Wash out the trace of yellowness, or he said: the trace of perfume and put off the cloak and do in your 'Umra what you do in your Hajj.

Perhaps most importantly, we know what motivated Moe: loot & extortion.

8:67. It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allâh desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

I regret that I have no artistic ability whatsoever. I can only express my contempt for Moe's War Cult through the written word.
