There are many lies to refute on the subject of Jihad. For evidence we often turn to the Qur'an & hadith while neglecting Shari'ah. "The Book Of Jihad" and "A Summary of Islamic Jurisprudence" give us the short form. "Reliance Of The Traveller" and "Hedaya" provide more details.    The works referenced below can be downloaded from archive.org/ or purchased in print from Amazon.com.  Hedaya & Reliance are the work of  scholarly jurists, not idle speculation.  They form a congruent pattern with their anticedents in the Qur'an & hadith.
